1. Information We Collect

• Contact Information: Name, phone number, email address, and shipping address when you register an account or place an order.
• Tag Registration Details: Information registered against a Siktu QR tag, such as assigned item labels and listed emergency contact numbers.
• Technical & Scan Data: Temporary web session tokens, IP address, device type, browser information, and timestamp when a QR code tag is scanned.
• Payment Information: Card, UPI, and net-banking transactions are processed directly by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. We do not store or process payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information & Double-Blind Relay

• Service Delivery: To register QR tags, process orders, and facilitate contact between item finders and item owners.
• Privacy-Preserving Communication: We utilize a double-blind proxy messaging mechanism. Initial communications between finders scanning a tag and tag owners are mediated securely without directly disclosing phone numbers on public landing pages.
• Anti-Spam & Security: To generate short-lived session tokens, enforce rate limits, prevent unauthorized photo-capture spam, and maintain platform security.
• System Messaging: To send verification codes, scan alerts, order updates, and customer support communications via SMS, Email, or WhatsApp.

3. WhatsApp & Messaging Services

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to deliver scan notifications and service-related messages. Messages sent through our official WhatsApp channel are processed in accordance with Meta's technical standards. You may opt out of non-essential operational messaging at any time by replying STOP or contacting support@siktu.com.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties or advertisers. Information is shared only with trusted service providers essential to operating our platform (such as messaging infrastructure, payment gateways, hosting providers, and delivery couriers) or when mandated by law.

5. Data Security & Retention

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. Temporary web-to-WhatsApp session tokens auto-expire within 10 to 15 minutes. Account and tag data are retained only as long as your account remains active or as required by Indian tax and legal obligations.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion Requests

You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal data, registered QR tags, and contact preferences. To request permanent account or data deletion, email us at support@siktu.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days.
